Love is in the air!

Thursday afternoon I had the most fun running around downtown Peoria w/Shauntel & Chris for their engagement session. We took pics at the coolest places! It was a gorgeous day for shooting outside and we found so many awesome old buildings, I was just clicking away thinking, how are they ever going to choose? This was my absolute fav for the day!

This couple is getting married on memorial weekend and Jenny will be designing some amazing invitations using the pics we took. I can't wait to see how they look!

  1. Most fish are starting to get engaged right now, and they dont waste anytime making babies, in fact they have till about memorial day or so and then the honeymoon is over. We will be taking lots of fish photo sessions over the next several weeks too. We wont be running around downtown peoria, but rather across the entire midwest taking these photos and definitely will be showcasing them on the blog. I think taking and also looking at fish photos is much more exciting than taking and looking at people photos, but ahh to each his own I guess.

Sounds like its about spawning season and such for those humans in the pic up there too. Love is in the water and in the air too! You know, all this blog sabotaging heebo jeebo has got me to thinking that the perfect engagement photo session would be out in an old wooden boat with some old school fishing rods in black and white. Now that would be much cooler than taking pics by rundown buildings in downtown peoria. Plus you wouldnt have to worry about holding onto your wallet, camera, or breathing in all the smog.

I had to type in the word lablulula just post this comment. It almost wasnt worth it. But nonetheless I got er done.

"Add some outdoor spice to your typical boring photo sessions, at fishing moments captured by rachel we dont just take your pics standing by old buildings or fake scenic backdrops, we actually take your pics in settings where you dont have to fake a smile or even where I have to say cheese or fart or anything dumb to try and make you smile. We take photos in adventurous places where we actually capture your NATURAL smile! In my vast experience as an outdoor photographer I have found that there is no better smile than your real one. Come on out and see the fishing moments captured by rachel advantage!"

  4. You do have to admit though that amidst all the rubbish there are some thought provoking words?

They say there's a fine line between love and hate, and I would have to think there is a fine line between genius and whacko too. Its like you kind of have to be both in order to be one.

You know what I have always wondered is who is They anyways?
