Greece day 2 "Crete"

So after my on and off again sleepless night we ended up sleeping in till 10:00 am. I hate to waste daylight but maybe now we can get on a normal schedule. We had a breakfast of pastries and fruit out on our balcony and then set off to find the market. We ended up down by the harbor and then cut inland until we found it. It's an indoor market w/lots of local stuff. Olives, cheeses, and of course seafood. It's interesting to walk through w/all the smells of cheese and raw seafood and then right next to it an eatery. Oh yeah, we also saw goat heads, what in the world can you make w/a goat head???? And rabbits are way different looking w/out their fur. We bought some olives and some other stuff and then walked back toward our studio. We got home and made some sandwiches and ate some olives and fruit and then walked to the beach. We also discovered that we have lights in the bathroom and ac, Yay! We were going to snorkel but the wind had picked up and it was pretty rough so we just laid out a little and then walked back home. We went out to dinner by the harbour and watched a full moon come up over the buildings. It was really pretty. Oh yeah, 2 different places we went today they tried to serve us that yucky drink. The first time was at the market and I saw the lady pour it out of a water bottle so I thought it was water and took a sip. GROSS!!! I don't know why anyone would drink something so awful. Also, along w/not liking greek coffee, David HATES goat cheese:) Not sure yet what we will do tomorrow. I'd kind of like to find a somewhat secluded beach somewhere and just hang out. We'll see.
